It's hard to come by an epic fantasy that doesn't rely on cliches. Vivian Amberville is an oasis of originality in the true sense of the world. It's not afraid to tackle themes that are not so often seen in other book series, and it's doing a GREAT JOB at being both original and epic.
All in all a truly memorable story. Grab it before the second one comes out.
