Amazing read. Definitely lives up to the hype and it deserves the popularity it got

Vivian Amberville follows the story of a teenage girl who can manipulate the outcome of events. She can travel between dimensions and ultimately discovers she can reshape reality. The idea is definitely original and the book was written very very well.
I liked the story a lot, but at times I felt the philosophical implications were a bit too complicated for me to grasp, a bit like the "The Matrix" scene with 'there is no spoon'. While Vivian Amberville's universe is as real as it can be (and not a computer simulation), at times it's a bit too complicated for the average reader. The whole philosophy of "thoughts become things" and "imagination drives reality" was spectacular but also hard to grasp sometimes. I may be only 15, but I felt that for a Young Adult book, it should have been watered down a bit.
Apart from that, Vivian Amberville is an amazing read. Definitely lives up to the hype and it deserves the popularity it got.
